here's a couple of pictures of the famous German Mars Motorcycle designed by Claus Franzenberg in 1920. propelled by a 986cc Maybach flat twin engine with a two speed transmission. top speed was 90kmh or about 55mph. with the huge amount of inflation in Germany at the time it would have taken a truckload of banknotes to buy one of these.
