the armored cruiser USS Brooklyn at a Naval Review in 1898. Brooklyn was the flagship of Commodore Winfield Scott Schley at the Battle of Santiago de Cuba in 1898. the Spanish fleet under Admiral Cervera was entirely destroyed by the USN.
